On the 26th of September 2012 Size Foundation introduced its new concept KIDS FOR KIDS at the youth club, Jugendhaus OASE, in Küssnacht am Rigi , Switzerland. The idea behind KIDS FOR KIDS is that children/youth advocate for other children/youth. One part of this dynamic concept is to inspire children/youth to discover solidarity through Size Foundation’s slogan “TOGETHER WE MATTER AND TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE”. This slogan is important because as Steve Angello explains:
“The world is a big place. If we could become involved and dedicate time to make a difference, the world would be a much different place.”
The Jugendhaus OASE celebrated its 15th anniversary on June 8th 2013. On that day there was a big party on the youth center’s premises. Youth arranged a soft drink stand as a part of their involvement in KIDS FOR KIDS where the proceeds went to the youth at the orphanage Ramana’s Garden in India.
There was an exhibition at the anniversary party where the youth at Ramana’s Garden showed drawings, pictures and presented their dreams and interpretation of Size Foundation’s slogan.
